She has photographed for magazines, advertisements, portraits, CD jackets, and various other fields, mainly related to classical music. From childhood,
she drew pictures and became familiar with music. She aspired to be a musician for a while and graduated from Kunitachi College of Music major in Music Education,
after attending Kunitachi College of Music Senior High School. While in college, she was a member of the art club, and while aspiring to become a musician, she also sought expression in the visual field. After graduation, she worked as a music teacher at a kindergarten and switched her means of expression from music to fine art (visual art), and entered the world of photography.
She worked as an assistant at the Roppongi Art Center photo studio. After working as a photographer and instructor at a portrait studio, she became a freelance photographer in 1999. Has been working with film, black and white prints, and other silver halide photography for many years, and has been offering photography workshops since 2018. In recent years, she started photographing familiar plants as her life’s work.

雑誌、広告、ポートレイト、 CDジャケット、コンサートのためのイメージ写真など、クラシック音楽関連を中心に様々な分野で撮影。
幼少期から絵を描き音楽に親しむ。一時音楽家を志し、国立音楽大学附属音楽高等学校を経て、国立音楽大学音楽学部教育音楽学科卒業。
在学中は美術部に在籍し、音楽家を志しつつ視覚分野の表現も模索する。
卒業後、幼稚園の音楽講師を経て、表現手段を音楽から美術（視覚芸術）に転向し、写真の世界へ。
スタジオ 六本木アートセンターにてアシスタント。ポートレイトスタジオにてフォトグラファー/インストラクターとして勤務後、
1999年よりフリーランスフォトグラファーとして活動。フィルム、モノクロプリント等の銀塩写真でも長年作品を制作。
2018年より写真ワークショップを開催。近年、ライフワークとして身近な植物の撮影を開始。
